The piece is currently conceived for piano and voice, but for the MATA Festival, I would develop a special arrangement for piano, voice, 2 cellos, viola, and violin. The duration would then be approximately 6 minutes.
The piece was originally composed in 2019 for solo piano and later revisited in 2024, when I added lyrics to give it a more intimate and narrative dimension.
It reflects a moment of looking back — of seeing one’s journey from a place of clarity and acceptance. The music captures the feeling of finding peace and a sense of home within the present moment, after having walked through different chapters of life.
